Requirements for Obtaining a Diaspora Visa in Indonesia

Passport Requirement
  • Individuals aspiring to apply for the diaspora visa must possess a passport with a minimum validity of 12 months.
  • Ensure compliance by submitting a colored passport photo for your diaspora visa application.
Financial Assurance
  • Evidence of living expenses is a key step in the diaspora visa application process.
Commitment Statement
  • Within 90 days of arrival, a commitment statement becomes mandatory, taking various forms such as purchasing Indonesian government bonds, shares/mutual funds, or savings/deposits amounting to US$35,000.
Documentary Evidence
  • Alongside the commitment statement, provide documents validating past Indonesian citizenship, such as an identification card, birth certificate, family card, Republic of Indonesia passport, diploma, or certificate.
